Call For Artists: 'The Blue Dot' Open Call

No matter where you live on the planet you are connected to the sea. We are looking for ARTISTS that go below the surface to create, visualise and help give the ocean a much needed voice. In our lifetime half of all marine life has disappeared. Through art we can engage audiences and build stronger connections with the deep blue sea and inspire change. This is a human crisis and never have our oceans been in more danger. Artists have the responsibility to help people visualise these problems.

WhatFor ALL British based artists working in all mediums. We are looking for creatives addressing the ocean and its beauty or its destruction as either a concept or a material..Photographers, painters, videographers, virtual reality designers, printmakers, installation artists and everything in between- there is no limit.

When: Submissions are open from the 8th of June until the 8th of August 2018. Anything submitted after this date will not be accepted.

The Open Call will culminate with a group exhibition at The House of Vans, Waterloo from Wednesday 26th - Sunday 30th of September 2018
